We hope you have been enjoying Spring so far and have managed to make the most of the sunshine. Sales of our Salad dressings shot up over the wonderful weather, so thank you all!
The early part of 2009 seems to have passed so quickly and already Mary has been busy writing a new book, making further TV appearances, and spending time designing her new kitchen as well as tending the garden at Watercroft.
In February, Mary and her daughter Annabel appeared in Celebrity Cash in the Attic. It was such a fun day filming at Annabels, then off to the auction in the snow! Despite the weather we managed to raise £750 on the day for the Child Bereavement Charity, of which Mary is a patron. Since the show, the money raised has over doubled, thank you all for your kind donations to the charity.
Mary Berry and daughter's delicious dressings new to the market include Basil Pesto Dressing, and we have now produced half size bottles of Salad Dressing, Basil Pesto Dressing and Caesar Dressing. Just £2.49.
The garden at Watercroft continues to be a constant delight, with enough fruit and vegetables planted for the forthcoming months. The private garden appointments are all booked up so Mary will be very busy making teas throughout the summer.
Mary's new book BBC's Baking Bible will be published this Autumn, recipes will include every cake, bun, biscuit you will ever need for every occasion. From cooking with children to baking a celebration cake. A must have for all you keen bakers at home!
