Here at Watercroft everyone has been very busy.

Mary has been making regular TV appearances in the UK and is scheduled to appear on 'Daily Cooks (ITV) over the next few months.  Mary has also been busy writing another book  - her 65th one - entitled  'One Step Ahead with Mary Berry', which will be published this September by Quadrille at £19.99

The book will help both the novice and expert cook become even more organised in the kitchen.  Each recipe tells you how you can plan ahead, so cooking is stress free.  For those of you who know Mary's recipes, you will know how straight forward they are to follow, full of flavour and mouthwatering to  look at - you will see the range of stunning photographs as proof.  To place your order please click here.

Meanwhile Annabel gave birth to a healthy boy on Easter Day and  is now busy in the kitchen creating fabulous new products which are all going to be launched in Spring 2008. Full details will be on our website in the New Year.  Mary and Annabel are very excited about the lastest developments in their range and hope that you will enjoy tasting them as much as they have enjoyed creating them!

Sales for the Mary Berry & Daughter range continue to soar, up 15% this year, and continue to grow thanks to our loyal customers.  And the judges of the Great Taste Awards 2007 (known as the Oscars of the Food World) have given their seal of approval to the range;  The Mustard Dressing has just won 2 Gold Stars  whilst  The Lemon & Thyme Sauce  won a Gold Award and the Hollandaise, Bernaise and Orange and Rosemary Sauces were all awarded Bronze.

Mary also won Gold Awards for her Horseradish, Double Apple, Redcurrant Jelly with Mint sauces and her marmalades.

As most of you  may be aware, Lucy Young has taken over the Aga demonstrations with her very own "Aga Workshops in your kitchen".  These have been going very well and she has been very busy travelling around the UK.   Lucy's new book Secrets of Aga Cakes is out in September (Ebury £18) full of cakes, biscuits, bun, cupcakes, chocolate muffins -  all the naughty sweet treats.  Each recipe has Aga and conventional timings and gives lots of baking secrets and tips on  freezing.  This is the Aga cake bible and a must for all bakers, new or experienced.
